b1 battle droid

A B1 Battle Droid modelled and rigged in Maya for FK animation, and textured in Adobe Substance Painter. This was my first time modelling & rigging a character model. I wanted my droid to be holding a E5 Blaster Rifle I modelled and textured previously and to pose the model with it in an action stance. The droid "limbs" were modelled separately like the head, neck, chest etc, and then rigged afterwards with FK for this hard surface character. Both droid and blaster were modelled in Maya with a low to high poly workflow, then textured in Substance Painter, then brought back into Maya to be rendered using the Substance plug-in and Arnold.
